I’m really excited to help celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the launch of the book Small Town Rules, from my friends Becky and Barry.
Becky asked me to record a video talking about one of my favorite principles from the book – which was one of my favorite reads last year, by the way – and it’s been so long since I have recorded a video, so I said yes!
In today’s video, I talk about the Small Town Rules principle of being proud of being small. I actually think lots of business owners make the mistake of thinking they want a big business that’s complex, when really, you just want a business that is the “right” size. Even tiny businesses can have a “sophisticated” offering – e.g. a product or service that is high-touch and high-value.
What do you think? Do you have a business that you’re proud to keep it small and simple? Share in the comments!
