Do you remember the last time you went to a conference, webinar, or workshop
and walked away smiling AND with a pile of notes?

If you can’t remember, you haven’t hung out with me.

“Wow! Andy Hayes’s session was the best one today.” – Mary Rarick, who attended my presentation at BlogWorld & New Media Expo 2010.

Can I crash your event or host a custom workshop for you?

Whether you’re hosting a conference, a workshop, or would like a custom training course delivered to your team, I would be happy to help.  I am not afraid to use jokes, storytelling, and assign homework to help attendees not only learn the content but also use it. Isn’t it nice when someone talks to you in terms you understand, and checks in with you to make sure you’re on the same page?

Andy’s social media workshop was great. His presentation was great – informative, yet laid back, with lots of great tips and hints. Andy use of anecdotes to explain key messages meant that we really understood not only what he was showing us but also why it was important. Before the workshop I was keen to get into social networking but nervous of what it would involve and how to behave. By the end of the day I felt brave and had a much better understanding, with a list of dos and don’ts. We’re now fully involved in social networking and really enjoying it!

What would you like to talk about?

Let’s talk through your plans and find the perfect topic for your event! My key areas of expertise are small business, entrepreneurship, and new media.  Here are three of my most popular talks to get you thinking.

  • Why Your Website Sucks: Most businesses focus on getting more traffic. But the real trick to improving profits and success is to improve your conversions. Most website suck. Does yours?
  • Online, Small Businesses are the New Big Brands: They say small is the new big.  Can anyone wonder why after Enron and bank scandals?  Somewhere, it all went pear shaped.  But awesome small businesses can use their size to their advantage, especially online.
  • Social Media Success: Market Less, Sell More: A lot of businesses spin their wheels online – and for good reason, as it’s a black pit of options and choices.  Stop wasting time on the stuff that isn’t important and start getting some focus on delivering results.

Andy spoke to the members of the Global Bloggers Network at a webinar on juggling time and priorities as a travel blogger. His insights and tips were very valuable and his relaxed delivery style peppered with a bit of humour went over very well. Thanks to Andy, the webinar was another success for GBN.
